Registration for all teams and individuals in-region will open on March 1st and registration for out-of-region teams and individuals will open on April 1st.
The Southeastern region includes those teams and individuals from
Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Texas.

“Registration for team and individual slots will be taken on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Once all slots have been filled for teams and/or individuals, the Host City will create a waiting list also based on a ‘first come first served’ basis. If a slot becomes available, that slot will be filled by the team or individual at the top of the respective list.
The Host City will notify the team or individual that the slot is available. Once a team or individual has been notified that a slot is available, that team or individual will have seven days to accept the slot. After those seven days, if the slot has not been accepted by the notified team or individual, the slot will be offered to the next team or individual on the respective list. This continues until the slot is filled.”

“In an effort to raise revenue, the Slammasters have elected to make Southern Fried Poetry, Inc a membership based organization. Members wishing to participate in the tournament and other festival programming will be responsible for a personal 20-dollar-a-year membership fee.”
