2021 Virtual Poetry Fest

SoFried Poetry presents a fully virtual online festival and competition with cash prizes presented to winning teams and indie competitors.
The competitive aspect of the festival will be broadcasted on Facebook Live and YouTube free of charge while exclusive events such as side bouts, workshops, and other premium content and activations will take place in our avatar-based Echo platform which was well received for our 2020 festival in August. https://www.southernfriedpoetryslam.com/virtualpoetryfest/
In early April, we will open the registration window for Teams and Indies. Registration is $275 for each team and $175 for each indie competitor. All competitors must be active members of sofriedpoetry.com. All competitors will receive a detailed guide which will cover many of your questions and queries ranging from how competitions will be facilitated, as well as how we plan to overcome any technical challenges such as group performances in virtual spaces. Poets will be competing for up to $6000 in cash prizes!
