Dad Joke Deathmatch

• Each competitor will need 1 red and 1 white item to serve as identifiers for each round. 
• Each competitor will need approximately 25 jokes.
• Jokesters who win the best 3 out of 5 for the preliminary round will advance to the next round.
• Jokesters who win the best 5 out of 7 for the second round will advance. 
• The final round will be best 5 out of 7.
• The rounds will go from 12-8-2.

For this virtual competition, visual judging will be used. There will be 3 preselected judges. Judges will need 1 red and 1 white item to serve as identifiers for their vote during each head to head match up. At the host’s instruction, jokesters will present their joke. Afterwards, the judges will indicate Jokester 1 or Jokester 2 at the direction of the host.

The winner of this competition will receive a cash prize of $149.95 plus shipping and handling. What a deal for DADS!!

Registration opens Tuesday 8/1/2023

There is no registration fee, we are taking the first 12 contestants and we will start a wait list for anyone who signs up after the registration is full. It’s first come, first served. This event is open to anyone, not just members of the Southern Fried community. We welcome you to join us!
